I am really excited that it's spring. It was a warm winter, but I'm ready for the flowers!! So ready, in fact, that I pulled out my Daisy poses from Pulling Strings and snapped a quick pic of what I find to be a frighteningly precious outfit! :)

My Talented Friends!

Forgive my indulgent post today, guys, but seriously, sometimes you just gotta point out awesomeness!!

You all know I have an extremely talented friend in my BFF, Elle Kirshner. She designs furniture in her shop, Second Spaces. She also has a pose shop called Pulling Strings. She started her own look of the day posts on flickr, and she has a ever-so-slightly read (ha!) blog about home stuff in SL. She's done pics for me on this blog, as well, and I suppose I realized recently that I never gave her the enormous props she deserves for all the hard work she puts into making our second lives prettier! THAT being said, I also want to plant a little focus on my friend, Vlad Sharktooth, who is a master with photoshop! He wasn't in SL for a little while, and the first night he actually came around while I was around, I demanded he take my picture! And because he knew I would not shut up until he did, he told me to put on something pretty and he'd indulge me. We did two. One I have linked above, as well as used it for my header... and the other he has yet to finish. He will be taking paid clients as soon as he gets a few things sorted, and finishes the free stuff for his greedy friends! But here is his flickr, and you need to check his stuff out!!

BUY ALL THE PANTS!

There is a FANTASTIC new release at The Sea Hole! I've always loved what Drinkinstein Sorbet comes out with, but these pants really impressed me. I love the texture, and the fit is so pretty! There are several colors available and I can not urge you enough to go check them out!!!

As a side note, I always respect designers who are able to take suggestions with grace. There was an issue with the alpha layer that came with the demo when I first grabbed it. I loved the pants so very much that I dropped a notecard on Drinkinstein and asked if she would consider fixing it. She was extremely gracious, and as it turned out, didn't realize she hadn't put one of the alphas in that she had intended. She was so friendly and understood my intention was not to criticize. In fact, it was completely selfish because I wanted those pants, damnit! ;) Thanks for being SO awesome!

Ok, now I want to point out the awesomeness that I discovered via another blogger! Ohmaiblog had this eyeliner on display a few days ago (here!) . I loved the look of it and followed the link to Marketplace and bought this pack of eyeliners by Soapherian, and they're totes awesome! I liked it SO much, I decided to buy a pack for a friend, too! Get it now!

This is more a "Look of the Day" post. I just tossed on some mesh I love and made Elle take a picture. And she made me look all awesome like the sun depends on ME to make it shine brighter!!! (or something) Anyway, hey look at the pretty picture!

Maitreya + Truth

That's like saying "peanut butter and chocolate" to me. It's such a yummy combination! This weekend, Maitreya released some basics that I am soomgahsuperexcited about! Jeans, boots, leggings, and my personal favorite has to be the mesh skirts available in tons of colors and three lengths! Below the knee, above the knee, and mini. Yeah, I can see myself needing several of these...

And now to Truth. Mr. Hawks treated us to 3 releases this week. Two are mesh, and one is not. All are very cute. I'm featuring the Savina here.

I got this trench coat a while ago, but kept forgetting to feature it. Isn't it precious? Aoharu has some pretty nice mesh stuff, so I urge you to go check it out! But, as always with mesh, remember to grab a demo first!
